My oldest photograph on this web site dates from 1953, but most date from ten years later, in 1963 and 1964. I have taken photographs steadily and purposefully ever since and the result is a rather substantial archive of images. I have included some of my favorites on this updated web site, and divided them into four general categories and twenty-three sub-categories. I’m certain will probably add additional sub-categories in the future and new photographs will be added as new ones are taken or when they are uncovered in my files.

The sheer number of photographs and the frailties of memory insure that on occasion I will come upon an image that interests me that I’ve never printed. In some instances, an outside party may see something they think is of interest and call my attention to it. Others often see things in my photographs that I might have missed and I welcome their suggestions.

In some instances the photographs in various categories and sub-categories are finite, and there will be no new additions, but others are still growing. There will be no additions to the Shadowman series from 1982, but there will be additions to the Highway 80 project in East Texas as I continue the project. As time passes and I develop the archive in a more thorough way, I’ll include more precise information about it and include it in an appropriate way.
