Along The Road

In the early 1970s I found the East Texas countryside and small towns as visually interesting as I find them today. In some instances things are unchanged. I was severely restricted in terms of time in 1971 and 1972; if I was able to steal a few hours from hospital duty, I’d pick out a back road and go exploring, and always find something worthy of a photograph. I only regret I wasn't able to dig a little deeper in those years.
