Andy Warhol

In 1985, a fine filmmaker, Jerry Aronson, undertook a film about Allen Ginsberg. He asked if I’d take some stills during his interview with Andy Warhol. I thought that might be interesting and agreed to do so. But the main thing that was interesting was that Andy was a really terrible interview that day. No animation, nothing exciting. When I looked at the contact sheet that wasn’t an interesting picture to be found so I decided to create one with a double exposure that is far more interesting, at least to me and everyone who has seen the contact sheet.
