The Rivington School
In 1986, the welders and visual artists were still hard at work at and near the vacant lot at the corner of Rivington and Forsythe Streets. This remarkable artistic statement was demolished, but not before I managed to take some photographs that are among my favorites. The Rivington School moved down the street and then wound up on 6th Street for a few years. It’s still alive on the Internet.
